On January 14, 1997 evening someone entered the home of a mid age person Stanley Stotler with a 9 mm pistol. Stanley called the police. Stanley’s home lights were off when unknown men entered his home. He somehow snatched the gun from an unknown man and pointed it toward the unknown man. But during an incident, Stanley mistakenly got fired at his arm after which unknown men ran away from the home.

However, Stanley remained successful in seeing the face of the intruder. Later in the police investigation, it was found that 16-year-old Jonathan Irons entered Stanley Stotler’s home with a gun.

On January 21, 997 Jonathan was arrested. Jonathan was found guilty inside the St Charles County Circuit court on October 20, 1998. The judge sentenced him to 50 years of imprisonment under the charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and first-degree burglary.

After it, for many years Jonathan kept on raising a letter of pleading in court. But after the hard efforts of his now wife Maya Moore, he finally got released from jail on On July 1, 2020.
